Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet!

I’m Kate, I live in Folkestone, Kent, in the beautiful garden of England with my two darling children and a very naughty sausage dog called Rolo.

I have enjoyed various arts and crafts ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil, and this latest chapter of my life has brought me back to my love of painting, watercolour in particular.

At school I studied graphic design and fine art. My favourite artistic movement is abstract expressionism which is probably clear from my painting style. I love making art that the viewer can interpret in their own way. Some refer to it as paint-gazing. Art is a very personal thing and everyone can see something different. I love hearing what other people see in the art I create and I enjoy sharing it with others.

Life can be challenging. The world is uncertain and scary at times. Painting has given me peace and relief in difficult times and sharing my work with others brings me a tremendous amount of joy, and I hope that my creations bring joy to you as well.
